Constructive ways to improve mood and distract oneself in lockdown

I’m finding knitting an aardvark has done wonders for my mental state: I have to concentrate, because I have to count the stitches, etc, and I have a great feeling of achievement when it’s completed. Also, I can do it with my feet up, and send them to people who are important to me.

I think the aardvark is terrific. I`m knitting too. I always loved going out and about but have realised that being forced to stay home has somehow made tapering the dose of prednisolone easier. I wonder if it is the extra rest I get from sitting knitting?
