New Rhuematologist

Well it has been a month since I posted. I have had ear aches and stayed on 20 mgs of prednisone. Had my appt with new rheumatologist and the first thing she is going to do is get me on Aceterma. I think I spelt that wrong. Because I am low income she said it will take awhile to get this med.

I will stay on 20 mgs prednisone for now then when we start go to 15 then 10 and see from there.

Just turned 69 last month and decide to simply own my own body. It is what it is..hehehe

Been super busy with my research on Clovid. And timeline in scriptures.

First off I will not EVER take the vaccine or rfid chip. It is a scam to start the New World Order. I have been putting the dots out there for over 20 yrs. and now I am able to connect them. Ok don’t get me started.

it is not the beginning of the end but the sorrows are looming.

Gonna try n figure how to change my profile pic

Looking good Lin! 💓

Earache is miserable, does your doc think it is GCA linked? I understand that it can be. Wishing you faith and love in these scary times.

Somebody more clever will help you to change your profile picture when they wake up. I am on the fence a bit about Actemra - no harm in trying though. There seems to be hope around it. X

Was just reading up on a report. Bad side effects fatal ones. I will keep looking into it. My system is weird so it might be fine for me. Hugs 🤗

I live in the US and am on Actemra. I was able to get financial help from the Pharmaceutical company that makes it. They do not charge me. Several papers have to be filled out and a prescription from your doctor is needed. Good luck in your decision making.

Thanks my doc told me about the same thing. Has it helped you. I have been on prednisone since 12/2015 more times than not at 20 mgs which is where I am now...

I was diagnosed with GCA in August 2019 and began with 50 mg. of prednisone. I had every side effect there is from the prednisone and I thought my doctor was tapering me too quickly. I changed dr. in Feb. 2020. At that time I was taking 15 mg pred. She prescribed Actemra and I had my first injection March 6th. I feel a little better but I understand it takes awhile for it to work, if it's going to. I am now on 10 mg of prednisone and dropping only 1mg every 2 weeks. I had a virtual appointment with my dr. but we didn't schedule another. I am concerned about blood work though so I am going to contact her. Again, good luck. My decision to go with this drug had to do with my eye pressure being elevated by the prednisone. I have glaucoma and want to get as low as I can with the prednisone.

Thanks for info. I have eye pressure also.. I guess we will see. I need off this prednisone...

Your profile pic has changed but you added a photo to the message. 👍🌻 You just need to edit the picture if you want to remove the bigger picture.
