Hi everyone I am down to 5mg prendisalon. But I am experiencing a lot of abrasions and flakey kin on my forehead and its sore and tender .I keep applying moisterisor cream and this helps .but comes back as soon as I stop cream has anybody else experienced this .thanks .

Hi wanne, I have this issue in various parts of my body. I know this sounds a lot, but you should be putting cream on 6 times a day. You can't use HC cream on your face but a good quality dermatitis or eczema cream/lotion/serum will help. Serum or lotion work better for me as not as claggy on the skin.

When you can have it checked by a Dermatologist... I had dry, flaky skin on my nose for 6 months... I put out cream on it ever night; when I finally saw a Dermatologist, it was diagnosed as a precancerous basal cell growth. They tried freezing it off, but ended up having to use a scalpel as it was too deep. Have it checked! Oh and yes... the cream would work, but for shorts periods of time, only.

Hi Wanne, I have the same flaky skin on my (shaved bald)head Doctor recommended E45 cream, so I apply it every time I wash or shower it keeps the flaky skin away for me but you have to keep using it, or it will come back. Sorry but that's the way it is with me.

Double Base cream and use it exactly as it say on the bottle. You can get it on prescription, as I did when on pred but that was a hassle, so I just bought it and still use it.
