Yesterday we had a no tv day. OH was a little perturbed. But we did it. Slept the best last night I have in a month.

Do you mean no news TV?

Glad you slept well...it's a precious commodity.

We have had that at night when we are supposedly watching something and neither of us really is and suddenly silence!! YBB

Good plan. I get restless quickly anyway. Then I spoil it all by looking at BBC news on the iPad. I slept until 10 am - unheard of. The body eventually gives in.

Good job. I slept 9 pm to 9 am. A new record for me too

Don't read the news at night!!

We often have them these days. Not

much to see anyway! Not interested in sport or thrillers (and there seems little else is shown)!!

We look at one news bulletin per day - more is just repeated stuff.

Where did you find sport?????

It is actually very informative watching Sky News. Yes it is rolling news so lots the same but the interviews and articles change over the day and some are really really good. Cuomo's news conference is brilliant - and so are their Q&A sessions with experts. I have learnt an awful lot. By listening to stuff live you get the truth of what they said ...

Yes..it's very different without the filter of the reporters in the bits o have seen. Live evrrytime. A university based virologist was saying they had asked the gov to open labs so they might try and help. No answer.

But Mr Hancock said something about writing off NHS debt - £30.4 billion. Has Covid 19 saved the NHS from the Tories?

I am keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

I didn't as I wouldn't look anyway!!😂😂

I read most of the time (not News)!😂 As we have got older world news doesn't interest either of us much.

Not much world on Sky - England and the USA! Even Scotland and Wales are barely mentioned, Though they do seem to like Nicola Sturgeon - but her press conferences are excellent. Notable for being 3 women - and having a deaf interpreter too!

Disappointed but understand about Wimbledon. Been reading all about Roger and Serena. Their chances now of winning another Grand Slam are very slim for either of them.

If you have Netflix I highly recommend the show (4 episodes) Unorthodox. Mesmerizing. Not a thriller.

On my list.

Good for you both!!

The only TV I really watch is hockey, which is missed but I’m grateful they showed a documentary of my favourite team, and the-runs of past games.

I filter incoming data via my computer and feel I have more control that way. If I get too fixated on numbers I find my anxiety rises. The other challenge is food cravings as a way to make me feel better (emotional eating).

The sunny weather here has pushed us outside to do yard work and have some social time chatting with the neighbours through the fence.

Yes. That’s what we are doing. We live on a rural road. Lotsa space between houses. Strangely I have not felt like eating non stop. Liking that. Garden projects will keep us going until July. Stay safe
