Clarifying the current Covid posts position....again

If a post mentions how X and y helps, hinders, or relates to covid then please put it in the covid chat...or be prepared to have replies turned off. We may not get round to it immediately but we have to manage the processes somehow. Sometimes there will be a pmrgca question in there and we try and answer before we turn replies off, or, as previously stated, will determine with admin how to approach the process. But you will always get some replies to PMR GCA issues and your post will stand. There is a fine line obviously. But it has to be a line and we adjust in consultation with mods and admin.

If you are discussing how social isolation common to chronic illness and covid then yes...it is. But it has been discussed in various ways and will no doubt be a recurring theme in the covid chats.i I hope you will all continue to make contributions to that chat. It has both reassured and scared us all no doubt. Sometimes at the same time.

I hope that you will all appreciate that this is to keep it obvious when a direct PMR GCA post arises and requires helpful replies, advice and information.

Yes, we are all scared, many of us are shielded, labelled vulnerable, socially isolated alone and with family. Our long term conditions will go up and down as will our pred doses. So feel free to discuss when or if your symptoms are worse, or if you should ring the Dr, adjust your dose, or how your pmrgca is effecting or affecting you etc etc. That's what the forum is about. If you want to know how to cope with a chronic illness please ask. Sometimes there will be something in the chat that we feel should be a post and vice versa. We said this would be the case.

As this is a covid type post I will turn the replies off. Thank you for your understanding and patience. 🌻
