I teach Zumba Gold which is now cancelled because of the virus.
Because we are all confined to home I have put some of my routines on my website for anyone who would like to watch or follow them. Just click on the link above and click the tab video routines.
I am using my sitting room, so space is limited. We need to keep occupied and keep moving. Take care.

Thanks for sharing your website . What great work you are doing.
I've looked through the videos and I think that the Shant Bangra sitting exercise would definitely make a nice exercise for our forum members , although others would need Care and a proper guided warm up before many of our Members could take part in them safely .
People should always watch through any exercise sessions before beginning them and judge if it is appropriate for their individual health issues and if they will need to sit out , walk on the spot or adjust any of the movements to suit their individual mobility and health needs.
If people are going to use the Shant Bangra session they could enjoy it daily to remove those stiff pains but if you have difficulty moving your arms above shoulder height , those moves can be done at a height in line with your shoulders .
As Keep fit doll says use a steady chair on a stable surface . Firm padding , secure to the chair not just a cushion, helps if you have hip issues . Do some gentle joint rotations on all your joints and a few circle walks in your room to warm up before you start any exercise , even seated ones . And have a bottle of water next to you to sip after even a short routine before you leave your chair to prevent any dizziness for those with BP or balance issues.
People may like to have a look at the film session in the Tate as well for some more beginners ideas.
Thanks for your comments. I will add a warm up, some more chair routines and a stand up cool down. Standing ones are for people with more mobilty. I suspect people have different levels of fitness even with PMR.
Yes , that sounds good let us know on this post with a reply when you get them up.
Some of the standing , slower exercises you looked like you were doing in the Tate , along with some seated ones , would be ideal for people on this forum as we have a number of people in Over 60s , with other hip and shoulder issues and quite alot of us have additional health issues like OA , RA , and Fibro so the more lively , and spinning routines can be a bit more difficult.
The more able within Us may be upto your Rocking Robin after a warm up film .
I will enjoy your seated activity tomorrow , thanks xx
I have included a seated warm up. I will be putting more on when I can. At the moment I am pottering about in the garden as the weather is good. It is set to change next week. Thanks for your support.
Followed the videos this morning and they were good fun! I watched them first and thought they looked too 'easy'... but that was because I momentarily forgot I'm not the same super-fit person I was before PMR/GCA hit... and when I actually joined in I found they were brilliant! Luckily, just the right level for me, and a good introduction to exercise again without overdoing things. Thank you so much x
