But they get disposable brushes these days. I had thought about this but the thought of the germs building ip in the brush put me off... Resident germ phobic.. 🤣😂🤣😉
I've got some sterilising fluid (meant for baby bottles) and use it to sterilise nail brushes, washing up brushes, combs etc. It's good for anything made of plastic, probably not for other materials.
Yes I use sterilising fluid for combs etc and put any sponges or brushes in the dishwasher if I can't get to buy new ones. I have always bleached my sinks weekly etc. I have cleaned door handle for years. As I have said before... At last I am ahead of the curve instead of a germ phobic!
In the end we won't be able to use our hands at all - they will be too sore.😕😕
If the house is clean, once you are inside and have scrubbed yourself you should be safe - unless you get the dreaded virus. You don't need to do that every time you wash your hands - you aren't going to operate on anyone! - except when you are outside.
The flat has never been so clean - thanks to my weekly helper.😂
Such a lot of hype about this pesky virus. Unless it is known to be actually near us, I have decided not to read about it any more.
Have you actually got it in your village?
No not in this town but my husband has copd and we are both auto-immune depressed so want to do as much prevention as poss. Many go into London daily from here on tube and have sardine experience daily.
My dr anaesthetist daughter Melbourne said we should self isolate now... and daughter in law Barnet agreed.
.cousins in Barbican central London 70s with auto immune conditions. Their dr son and daughter have forbidden them to go out or see anyone.
They all feel the horrors of the virus are being undermined.
One case in Bruneck which is a km away - our village and it merge into each other - but if they live this end, nearer! And one case in the next village which is 6km. But you don't KNOW who has it as at least 50% of cases have no symptoms and even those with symptoms ignore them and go out. My GP hasn't had her cleaner for the last 2 weeks, no-one gets over the door. I now have a cleaner - but will wait because of the lock down.
Because others are selfish and inconsiderate - we have to be even more careful. It isn't hype - it is serious.
And re the flat - I don't mean clean, I mean not contaminated from outside and that will happen if you come in from outside and handle stuff without washing your hands.
I do a full hand and wrist scrub /wash on returning home from the dog walk etc. Thereafter I rinse unless i need to wash.... Food dog. But full scrubbing type wash once I have come home so max twice a day.
