Excellent way to taper and, from about 8mgs when I had a flare, I tapered with this method by one half mg at a time (now 3 1/2) takes longer but I'm a scaredy cat!

I used the DSL method to get my prednisone down - until I got to 3 mg, then I just stay at a dose that keeps me functioning, sometimes 3, 21/2, 2, back to 3. I am hoping one day I wake up and forget to take prednisone because don’t feel my symptoms. Good luck with your taper, be patient.
