I am about to taper from 1.25 to 0 as there is no good way to cut our 2.5 mg pills in 4 Pieces. They just break.
I am feeling just fine on 1.25 but I feel a bit scared actually to go to 0! 1.25 to 0 is a big step.
How can I do it in a sade way? Even slower than dead slow???
Do you have 1mg pills as you could go to 1 and then the next one to .5
You could try a phased approach, 1st week 0 one day only, 2nd week 0 on 2 spaced out days etc. Or you could go even slower with each step 2 weeks or a month!
I think I do say in the post about DSNS that it can be slowed even further by either starting with more days between the days of new dose - in the post it is 7 days, but you could start with 10 or even more - or you can do each step twice and later even 3 times before moving to the next. It really is infinitely adjustable.

No, we don't have it in Sweden. Just the capsules.
I'm sure Ragnar, who developed the original concept of DSNS, had 1mg tablets - and he is in Sweden.
No, I read Ragnar telling his story and he sais he cut the 2.5 mgs in 4 parts to get 0.625 as the lowest dose.
My pills are so small I don't think I can manage that.
I'll believe you - I don't think we were thinking of that sort of thing then, it was a while ago!!
Do you have compounding pharmacies in Sweden? We do and they will grind up larger tablets and weigh them into capsules to make up any dose you want accurately.
