Christmas Eve. The Time is now , to add those final thoughts that I have used throughout my time with Chronic Illness to help me through the Darkest Hours.

My Candle in the Darkness , you may say.

The first , the words I say to All whom fear to fall on the rocky path Life leads them is:

🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲

Even Angels walk with tiny footsteps until they find their wings and learn to fly.

You will find your wings again.

🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲

All cultures and people gather in the Darkest Days to celebrate the light and remember all the good that came before and will come again.

So my words on this Season of Hope are these :

🌲🎄🌲 GATHER TOGETHER 🎄🌲🎄

It isn't just People or Storm Clouds that gather. Thoughts gather , strength gathers , Hope gathers , gather these and you will have all you need to find your way to the Brighter Days that are to Come .

🎄🌲🎄 REMEMBERANCE 🌲🎄🌲

REMEMBER , You are still You . A wonderful , strong and more beautiful You with Every Day that passes. It is not You that changes just the things you do. Let that inspire You , not to Grieve the Past but Admire it and Enjoy whatever Future lays before you.

🌲🎄🌲 BRING ON THE LIGHT 🎄🌲🎄

Always search for the silver linings , even amongst the Darkest Clouds.

Darkness only appears so strong because of the Light that came before.

Yet , even a Candle in the Darkness can break those Shadows that fill your heart and make everything Bright , Familiar and Hopeful again.

🎄🌲🎄 FRIENDSHIP 🌲🎄🌲

It is in our Darkest Times that we find Precious Friendships in Unexpected Places.

Those Friendships last a Lifetime and are the Richest of All.

Because with those Friends you have shared an Umbrella not just a Parasol.

One of my favourite women of all time , not just a pretty face but a great advocate for Caring for all Creatures big and small.

Plus , her story about what she did in the War was really fascinating .

Thank you so much. You have taken the trouble to think about us and our concerns in the middle of your own. I so appreciate that. We all now have a few precious days to enjoy our Christmases without worrying about the world outside. If you’re anything like me you’re a tad jaded with trying to deal with all the situations over which we have little control and the feeling that whatever we can donate to help all those in need is just a drop in the ocean. So perhaps what we can offer is some fun, some laughs, and the luck in love most here seem to have. I know not all. But we’re a pretty affectionate bunch! Be happy! ❤️

Yes exactly , plus , being used to having to tackle those Health issues out of our control came in very well yesterday when we had a power cut stealing our ability to cook Christmas Dinner.

Yes, we had the big pot of Emergency Christmas soup , rice pudding and a cold buffet . Plus my body weight in guilt and calorie free Christmas treats !😋😂😂😘
