Broken veins

I've always had some broken veins on my cheeks but since PMR & Pred these seem to be migrating to cover my face and even the top of my nose ☹️ . Is it due to the sweats?

I doubt it is the sweats but pred can make the capillaries (the tiny blood vessels) more delicate.

Thank you again for being there! Feeling delicate these last few days. Only 3 months in and progress seems SO slow. Probably trying to blame every little thing on the condition!

I know it seems slow - but I promise in a year you will look back and see how far you have come. No-one believes me at the time but they all admit I was right when I said it!

More the Pred alright. When I started it i got a lot of this, little red veins face and top of chest. It did calm down as i reduced but some are there to stay. I looked into getting laser bur they wont use laser if you are on prednisone, it could damage the skin.
