Hi all .

So tomorrow I have an appointment with a rheumatologist. It's been 8 weeks since I first saw my GP.

I want to make sure I get the most out of this.

Any tips??

Make a few notes of issues you want to ask about. I really hope you get a knowledgeable, engaged Rheumatologist! Bear in mind all you’ve learned here. No crazy fast tapers! Good luck!

Thanks.

I've got a timeline of events and I'm certainly better informed than when I started so fingers crossed......

A list is always good, keep it simple & legible as Consultant may take it off you & read through it.

Dates are good & any blood test results you know.

Good Luck 🍀 & let us know how you get on.

Kind Regards

MrsN

Hahahaha

Thanks poopadoop. I've more or less resigned myself to a non event.

That way anything else will be a bonus.

Will keep you posted......

Shouldn’t the blood test be in the Hospital System? You could check in with your Surgery before you go, they may have it?

Good Luck 🍀

'fraid not.

My guess is that it haemolysed. (Or was dropped)

I read as much as I could so that I had reasons for why I believed what I did. Why I wanted a dexa scan before AA. Why I didn't want MTX or why the slow taper is important etc.

Thanks. That's really useful.

Of course, as yet, I don't have a diagnosis so I think that will be my priority.
