Flying
Morning David
You are still on high dose steroids & finding issues with them as discussed yesterday.
When are you due to pay for your holiday?......
I’ve just read some of the replies from yesterday’s Post, a Cruise From Southampton may be the way forward, you can rest as much as you like, go to Lectures, watch Movies & the destinations will come to you.
A balcony would be nice so you can sit in your own space & relax! 🚢 Wearing Sun Specs, a Hat & Sunscreen! 😎☀️
Things are looking like moving this way
It's all paid for with TUI. We do have travel insurance through our bank. TUI could easily sell our holiday on as it's a very popular hotel on the beach in Limassol.

Hi David,
Think we may have given you advise previously - but the most important thing - is to get Rheumy approval - you are on high doses and still only a couple of months into illness. Don’t think flying is really recommended in first 6 months with GCA.
Depending on that - insurance co needs to be advised, medication in original boxes in hand luggage along with copy of prescription. Extra meds in case required. Request special assistance at airports- and leave yourself plenty of time so you don’t have to rush. Build in relaxation time! Be careful in sunshine.
But as MrsNails suggests a cruise might prove less stressful if you can change to that. The advice still remains the same.
Oops on double ask. I just don't want to mess up my holidays! I hate flying anyway so will most certainly ask rummy ha ha
