Hi Prince,

It points to some kind of inflammation in your body. It could be anything and only a doctor guided by your specific symptoms can puzzle it out. We all have a specific autoimmune disease so what it means to us is different.

Kind regards and good luck! fm

It means you have more inflammation in your body than would be expected. I could be caused by something as simple as a virus- but could be more serious. You need to speak to doctor.

At your age it’s highly unlikely to be PMR or GCA which is what this forum is for.

DorsetLady and Princy, I’m confused, as this forum is only for people with PMR or GCA. I am also not supposed to be here. Actually, I don’t know HOW I got here. I think I will just have to give up on forum/forums because this situation of being where I shouldn’t be is not only stressful, but is also of no benefit to me, and certainly not to any of you, the chosen ones, who are where you are supposed to be. I am wondering what the actual punishment is for seeking help on this forum for something other than PMR or GCA ( I wish I knew what PMR and GCA are abbreviation for)

So Princy, we had better just get back to where we are supposed to be, because it is obvious to me that you were transported here in the same mysterious way that I was.

I remain a very confused PosyP.

PMR- Polymyalgia Rheumatica; GCA - Giant Cell Arteritis.

What forum are you trying to get on?

It was COPD that first led me to Health Unlocked, but I have obviously ticked a rogue box and gone astray. I am not computer literate.

You probably want the British Lung Foundation forum:

Yes that’s right. So how did I begin to have dozens of posts come into my email inbox that are nothing to do with lungs ? As I am not that bright on computer matters I did not notice that I had deviated from the original forum. I now know what to do, thank you all.

Goodbye.

Must have been a strange tick box error - or did corticosteroids/prednisolone come up somewhere? We do talk about that a lot, know about side effects and also know a lot about reducing the dose!!! ;)

Byeee - been nice chatting to you :)

I can’t remember how I did it. But never mind, I’ve learned something.

Again, thank you and goodby,

No punishment - except all we talk about here is PMR and GCA and how to live with the illnesses. So if you haven't one or the other we won't be able to help you I fear. The same applies on most health-related message boards.

My problem is that I was born before the wheel was invented.

Thank you again,
