Thank you for the replies. Bit less painful today and have been rinsing with salt water. Will try for GP or Dentist appt tomorrow. Fortunately, PMRPRO I had just ordered a new toothbrush!

Took advice from all who replied and managed to see a GP this morning. Probably thrush and given Nystatin Suspension. Have to see her next week and if no improvement will fast forward me to Consultant as I had tongue cancer 22 years ago.

Great the cleaning and food/ vitamin suggestions on your other post will help clear it quicker too , and possibly prevent future break outs , Take care xx
