Hello all. I just wanted to thank everyone for their advice on what to expect at a dexa scan.. It was like being in a very well-rehearsed play. I knew exactly what was coming next and was thoroughly relaxed.

This gorgeous unseasonal weather is a huge benefit at the moment. I'm hoping it will last at least until the first week in March when my birthday takes place, but maybe we'll be back to blizzards...

Lots of birds Grants. I'm on the top floor of a Victorian mansion, which is itself built on the top of a hill - so I can see for miles, across to the Pennine hills in one direction and the City of Manchester in the other. I have a turret room from which the wealthy wine merchant who built the house used to watch for the ships carrying his wine supplies coming in up the Manchester Shop Canal.
I can sit for hours watching the changes.
