Watching one of my favourite quiz shows, the question "How many players in each team are in the water to start a water polo match." Numpty pred head me sat trying to visualize how many horses you could have comfortably in a swimming pool.

Lighter side water polo.
Don’t worry ,you are not alone !One of my worse pred head problems is remembering names of people ,and just lately names of places l have visited too . It is worse if l have too much pressure put on me,l cannot get my head around too many things asked of me ,l have to pace myself and lead a fairly quiet life to be able to think more clearly, and even that doesn’t always work !!
Good job the question wasn’t - how many legs??😂🤣😄
A long time before pred head, when I was about 14 I was at my Granny's house when somebody on the radio mentioned water polo. I asked my Uncle Gordon what was water polo and he (ever the wag) said it was like ordinary polo with ponies but played on the beach when the tide's going out. I believed him for years.
What’s wrong with that? 🤔
Love it!!! You really made me laugh out loud with that one. 😝
Do tell then. How many horses? 😋
Polo -
10 horses at any one time. 2 teams of 4 plus 2 umpires - 40 legs🐎🐎🐎😳
If you're watching a 6-chukker grass polo match on a standard 300 x 160 yard field, that game will have a minimum of 50 different horses. FIFTY. 2 teams x 4 players per team x 6 chukkers = 48 horses. Add on 2 horses per umpire (2 umpires) = 52 horses.
Full of useless information me🤦🏻♀️
Would definitely need a BIG pool for that game of water polo then 😋
Blimey. Lot of horse manure with that galloping lot! It must be like steam bath watching! Spose you'd need safety goggles too!!
Great for the roses though...! The manure, not the galloping...
Well hubby was out this morning breaking the ice on the bird baths. No room for Polo there though 😆
