Wishing you the very best outcome for your surgery tomorrow...is it your hip/knee? I remember you've had 1 of them done. You'll be hopping, skipping, jumping, running....and nothing will hold you back. After all, you're a Viking woman!

My gosh are they open on Sundays? I had my op on a Saturday and could not leave the Sunday as it was like the Marie Celeste and no one to let me out. Monday morning was like Piccadilly Circus on the other hand.
My husband has had both his hips done and the pain went instantly. Now he's rushing round like a spring chicken (as much as a 72 year old can anyway). He's been up Snowdon and a various other mountains since!
All the best for op. The relief from hip pain is amazing. I had my hip replacements in May and October last year. Constipation is worst post op! Two weeks ago I stopped using the aids, raised toilet seat, walker, crutches etc. Have just started physio too with a progressive programme of exercises to strengthen my very weak muscles.
Well remembered!! DL. My thoughts are with you. Very exciting have this opportunity and I am so looking forward to reading about your recovery. Are you only staying in three days??? Xxxx
We're doing things the opposite way around to each other!.My hip first and then, hopefully, my knees! I too have heard that knees are more difficult, so I'm a bit worried about that, but I have to say, the hip was relatively easy! You will be fully weight bearing straight away and the muscles soon start to recover as you do the exercises.
I hope the procedure goes smoothly and that you have enough pain relief straight away!
Good luck tomorrow DL, I’m having mine middle of Feb! I hope after reading all your fan club, We both have similar good results! A year of constant pain is no joke. I wish you every success! 💐
