Thanks everyone. So far things are OK. Last night’s pred stayed down, water is staying down, he slept all night (it’s morning here in Singapore), now in the shower.
We’ve only dared come here because daughter (resident for 7 years) is well used to medical care. First time we’ve been away anywhere in 3 years as PMR and glaucoma care have been so intrusive. We’ve had a wonderful time in this beautiful place, daughter sent us on a spa day/night in Batam, Indonesian island a 40min fast ferry away, and just back from 2 days/nights in Melaka, Malaysia, 4 hours by private driver. Eaten marvellous exotic food with no probs until yesterday after breakfast at very smart hotel (may not have been anything to do with that). Sadly only 4 days left, just hoping we are well for the challenging journey home.
Life is now mostly normal (what’s normal?), until the next crisis!
Happy New Year everyone. Hope most people will see some improvement.
PS. PMR 4 years, started when we got home from Singapore last time so major anxieties. Several relapses, now on Methotrexate and steady reduction will resume when we get back. (We hope)
