Where did this migrate from headache, jaw and tongue pain to completely knackered?

Having been through the totally knackered, deathly fatigue symptom, I can tell you that it became more manageable for me and then it passed. You have a serious systemic disease and although the dangerous inflammation is controlled, you still have it. If you can, make yourself have daytime naps, even if you don’t want to, avoid stress, if possible ( I hope you had a good Christmas argh!) and go to bed moderately early.

Thanks Jane, I think I definitely did too much over the last 4 days, it's just so frustrating. More rest is on the cards. X

What Jane said!!!! And the fatigue is something different - the high doses of pred may counteract it a bit for some people but it will reappear later as the dose falls. It is part of the autoimmune disorder that is still chugging away in the background - pred only relieves the symptoms.

Oh yes the fatigue , rest ,sleep ,recline .Nothing else to suggest ,It will pass and you may experience it again but it will also pass again . Tolerate it and listen to your body . It's warning you enough now ,Slow down .

My experience is that my condition has improved in the last 12 months. I remember last Christmas well and how completely washed out I felt and with that horrible 'permanent flu' feeling. It was a real effort to take part in family activities. This year, although I got very tired, I was much livelier and had lost the flu sensations. Still not back to normal and have to make sure I don't overdo things, but so good to be improving.
