Yes!
Right on!!
Yes yes yes ❤️🌟
My GP is nice, but there is not enough time ,we need longer consultations.
Determined look there! Have to admire it!!
I believe my surgery does allow a double appointment PMRPro,l forgot about that !l bet that little babe on the picture is quite a handful,he does look very determined to get what he wants.
I was last appt of the day. 3:15. Was seen 4:15 -left 6:20 ! No question was left unanswered✔️
Too true!!
I do not think that even the last appointment would be that long at my surgery, the lovely GP who always gave longer appointments when needed has retired,it did mean that those waiting often had to wait a long time in the waiting room ,sometimes an hour and a half later than their appointment time.Unfortunately there has been a huge amount of extra pressure put on surgeries here because uncontrolled emigration.
I'm sorry, I can't let that pass. Immigrants contribute far more to the NHS than they take out of it - there are several reports establishing the figures. Apart from anything else they are young and healthy so need the doctor less except for having babies and industrial accidents. And once all those so-called uncontrolled immigrants have left because they feel unwelcome and no more have arrived because of flawed immigration policy requiring them to earn high salaries before they get a visa (no ward nurse or physio outside London earns anywhere near £30K), your waiting times at the GP and for hospitals will be even longer. Fact.
There is a major problem now in that there are a lot of companies desperate for staff as U.K. cannot provide people. Immigrants actually give more to the exchequer than they take out. I was talking to my anaesthetist after an operation I had recently who was from Estonia she was really worried about whether she would be able to stay in U.K. We really cannot afford to loose trained anaesthetists at the moment.
I am not sure why immigrants should be causing the problems at surgeries.
I cannot let it pass either.
I assume you meant to say 'immigration'. Emigration is what will happen to the people who are working in the NHS as Nurses, Porters, Cleaners, Chefs et al who will not meet the £30k criteria.
My two local hospitals are short of Nurses and have been for nearly two years.
The para medics who came and took me to hospital, one Scot and one from Ceylon.
Nurses: a Rumanian, two from the Philippines, one Grecian and 3 Brits
Cleaners: 1 English, Porters 1 Spanish and the other a Brit.
Caterers: who delivered meals to the ward: One Brit, two Nigerians,
Doctor: a Scot and the other from India.
And that was just in the ward I was in..............
I was well cared for although they were all worked off the feet. Apart from the Doctors, none of them earned anywhere near £30k.
My GP practice, which is a Training Practice, cannot fill a vacancy which means 4 doing the work of 5.
“Emigration” -leaving ones country to settle elsewhere. I’m not sure your post really makes any sense 😱
I am so sorry l did not mean to cause any affence,l am well aware that the health service depends on these people, also many other jobs in the care system,l,was only stating a fact that there is pressure on services which is because there is a large increase in the population,l have nothing against them,l just meant that it has definitely made a difference to my doctors practise.
I am sorry l used the wrong spelling,l was only stating a fact ,did not realise l would cause so much affence .l am having a very stressful day anyway because of a problem with the cemetery where my husband is buried,my brain is not working at all well today.
My daughter in law works in the local hospital PMR pro and she has told me how much they need staff from abroad, and my husband received wonderful care from lovely people when he was there last year.l am not against these people.lf l have not perceived things correctly it is probably through TV news and certain newspapers, thank you for putting me right about this.It could be that my surgery is unable to get more doctors which means they have to keep appointments as short as possible,l live in a very busy area and l made a mistake because of that. I can only apologise.PS,l shall have to stop listening to Question Time and News Night !
Don't worry about it - but it was these sorts of impressions that have led to the problem. I ditched those 2 programmes years ago - IMHO they are set up to make headlines. Of the wrong sort! Even the newspapers that I agree with present a slanted view - take it all with a pinch of salt. Except the fact that Brexit is unlikely to improve anything!
I must admit l have been meaning to stop watching those programmes, and l am really stressed out regarding Brexit and l am beginning to wish they had never had a vote on it.
From outside the country it looked like the pro side had just intended to light a fire under the powers that be, never really expecting the vote would be to leave the EU.
Then he just walked away !
