Lefluminide and flu jab

I have started, two weeks ago,taking Lefluminide along with 7.5 pred. I am due to have my flu jab tomorrow. Is it ok , will it interfere with the Lefluminide?

Also how long does it take for the Lefluminide to kick in?

If anything I'd have thought it was the other way round - the leflunomide MIGHT make your immune system not respond to the vaccine quite as well as it might.

There isn't necessarily a "kick in". However, a friend was very excited having been able to get off pred in 8 months after starting leflunomide (she had been at about 7mg together with methotrexate) and she DID say she felt it "kick in". However - I understand the PMR has flared again and she is back on a higher dose of pred. No guarantees - whatever you have been led to believe.
