Statins and PMR/GCa

Thank you for all the replies I got as to an as yet unproven relationship between statins and PMR/GCA. I am still looking into it all. There is a study going on at the NIH, Bethesda, Maryland, U.S.A. At the moment re PMR/GCA. I am wondering if this might come up. I will have to ask my Rheumatologist if she has heard anything. When I asked her if she thought there might be a relationship she said. “Well many people have been taking statins without developing PMR/GCA. That’s true of course, but then perhaps no one put two and two together!
