So glad you made it!!even though everything was against you! I had noticed the three bridges bus replacement service.(nightmare). Thinking about it now I could of met you there☺next time I plan to come along👍take care when eating lettuce😯xx

Having been a group facilitator for 20 years, what you've captured so beautifully is the essence of connection.....especially between individuals who have a common lived experience.
That's it, I'm moving to the UK (or transporting you all here).
I'm so thrilled that you have found your PMR/GCA "sisters and brothers"!
I will continue to find (or create) a similar group here in Ontario, Canada. I fantasize about organizing a huge international conference where all the PMR/GCA folks of the world connect, share, learn and celebrate.

Thank you, PMRCanada, Yes, I have found PMR/GCA "sisters and brothers" and it felt like home! I am sure you will create a network that is just as strong, cohesive and valuable... YES! Lets do it! An International Conference, "where all the PMR/GCA folks from all over the world connect, share, learn and celebrate. " I LOVE IT!!!!!
Count me in! I'm in Toronto, or close enough to say I am.
Brilliant as always! I plan to come next year (Please God🙏🏼) but thinking will make a weekend of it, as TBH that’s the only way I can manage these kind of events, to have done my travelling the day before!

I did thank you and to be honest I haven't had the time or the brain to do anything yet - that's not strictly true I have been uploading my photos and it seems to be so slow, there were a few though as it included my birthday ones as well as they bought me the iPhone 6s Plus for my birthday (they know I like to take pics with my phone but the old one wasn't up to my David Bailey antics) - so been learning how to navigate the bloody thing, bit more to it than my little Samsung at which I was a whizz with photos...so don't hold your breath but I will attempt to...promise. They should have bought me a camera!! Only kidding!

Very good Melissa, I have to agree it was a very enjoyable day and one I'll remember for a long time. I also agree that the conference was brilliant but it did get in the way of Us Lot chatting - don't you think? xxxx

YES indeed... it was kind of rude the way those Guest Speakers kept trying to give us all that useful information, while we were trying to socialise!

I love your post, you are truly quite the writer. It was so good I read out to my OH and he was laughing out loud. I wish I could have been there but live across the pond in California.
