PMR, shoulder, arm injuries

I have had PMR For almost 5 years. I have been on Actemra for a year while tapering the prednisone down to 3m.

I remember some of you posting of rotator cuff injuries. I think I have such an injury and will know more when I see the doctor on Monday. I feel like I am in a flare....or did the flare precipitate the injury? Thank you for any input.

Not everyone who is on Actemra gets off pred altogether - maybe you are just on slightly too low a dose of pred for the moment?

Doctor says it is tendonitis...probably overdoing it and then the leash pull from the dog! Refused the cortisone shot, decided to up the prednisone to 5m for a week and go to physical therapy. Funny how the tendonitis in the shoulder joint made the upper arm, the PMR area, hurt! Thanks!
