Thank you everyone who posted help and sympathies. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one feeling so awful.

Dear Kyrenia, I feel your pain, so don't think I'm bragging below. This is for when and if you feel like it. I Just want to add some advice. I use vitamim K cream as well as Arnica for bruises. Bought it at a health food store and it works wonders. For pred weight after 15 years of weight gain on this med for various conditions, I went on a low glycemic diet and finally lost 60 lbs by having NO bread, pasta, sugar etc. Used American Diabetic Association guidelines and WeightWatchers online. I was motivated because I was determined not to have a doctor say I had diabetes because I had neuropathy. Did not want yet another medication. It worked. Of course, when you are in pain it is hard to find that kind of determination and discipline. But the option is there, eventually. Not sure, however, that I will ever lose the fat pad on my neck or all of my tummy!!! Good luck.
