PMR, OA and Hips!!

A week ago I had a restless, painful night. When I tried to get out of bed I almost collapsed. I was in agony!😡 Something had gone really wrong with my hips. For 3 days I could hardly walk - not even to the toilet. Husband kept saying you MUST go to the rheumatologist (there’s a 2 to 3 hour weight if you go without an appointment). “I’ll leave it for a couple of days and see what happens” said I.😏 Stayed in bed for 3 whole days!!!

Today, I went to a supermarket wheeling the rollator. Husband has trolley, I have my rolley. At some time I must have taken the trolley (can’t remember doing it)! Went here, there and everywhere picking things up (spent €85). Back to car, quite a long way off, husband asks “where’s your rollator? Oh dear - have to go back for it. It was just inside the entrance!!!😂😂😂

How about that for a recovery?

Slightly! Not helped by someone mixing up his diuretic and BP pill last night! Up to the loo every half hour for much of the night! Bedtime now though...

And we've had about 6 inches of rain in the last 2 days!

Not in Sued Tirol! It arrived just as we left on Friday! It was merely low 20s and a howling gale every afternoon.

This isn't "lovely" rain - it is constant heavy rain, the outer edges of a typhoon!

It is a working holiday - it's going pretty well. The food is good - so apparently is the beer. But I don't drink beer and there is a decided lack of wine! So water and tea it is...
