Sorry for all the spelling mistakes. Off to bed to have cutting dreams. Now looking at a leaf blower. Better than a brush. Any suggestions? . Xx

That was a bit of a rant.
They are very noisy & if the wind is blowing hopeless! Still have to pick the stuff up anyway. Hope that helps morrison.
Not so sure, depends how big your garden is if it's going to be worth it and as Pepper doggie says it it's windy....personally I would just rake them onto a compost heap they make lovely leaf mould or just dig them into the soil on your beds they'll compost down lovely - again depends how many you've got if it's loads might as well pay someone to get rid as a one off...happy gardening
I found mine heavy and it didn't do what I envisaged - but then, living where I did I only had to wait a few days and nature blew them away or into a pile anyway!
Crazy how mechanical petrol driven brainwashing has taken over most councils here in regard to this. Noisy & environmentally crap. Leaf blowing is very inefficient! It does the job for 5 minutes. Strimmers are another one! Effectively ring barking young trees & killing them! Ahh!
I did find a use for a strimmer - but hated the noise! The old petrol-driven proper mower (inherited from OH's father who died when OH was 8) was hell on wheels!
Once upon a time Sunday afternoon was a pleasure, listening to the gentle hum of a push mower as someone made stripes in their lawn! Heron can live next door to me...
The smell of petrol! The roar of the engine! Getting round the corners! It's a dangerous lawn out there! That's if you could get it started of course! Heron could live next door too! Providing our fish are ok!
Apparently in some parts of Germany no mowing on Sundays and bank holidays, sounds right to me!, ...but can you imagine trying to get that passed here in the Uk….don`t get me started it`s too hot for a rant!
Ps My husband has a lovely quiet mower, and still likes those stripes!
Quite right - or at least it used be so. But if you had just moved in to a flat you got 48 hours exemption over the following weekend from not drilling and stuff so you could hang pictures and assemble your furniture. We lived in a big multi - someone had moved in every second weekend!!!!
I have very bad feelings about all these mechanical noisy garden tools. Sorry. Always cross the street and plug my ears if I have to walk by someone using one. We even use a push (reel) mower....
