I'm down to 35 mg of pred . My shoulders and neck ache all the time. I have pain shooting around the right side of my head with headache and my calfs hurt when I walk. I see the rheumatologist on Wednesday. I have also had racing pulse. Anywhere from 70 to 102.
On a brighter not I also have a new granddaughter. Born Tuesday weighing 10lbs 8 oz.
Very tired and cranky today. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

Sorry you feeling out of sorts but yes tomorrow is another day. Congratulations on your new grand daughter - lovely news - hope you get to see her soon xx
Congratulations to all concerned! Especially mum - that is a BIG baby!
That does all sound worth more than a passing mention to the rheumatologist I think and if the headache and shooting pains get worse before the appointment don't hestiate to speak to your doctor as perhaps the GCA is still there and the dose is maybe a bit too low for comfort.
Sorry about the aches and pains. Congratulations on the new grand-daughter!!!! Tomorrow will be a better day!
Congratulations on the arrival of the new apple of your eye.
It sounds to me as if 35 mgs is not quite controlling the inflammation and you may need a higher dose for now. The racing pulse will be the Pred. Perhaps the doctor could prescribe a beta blocker?
