I have this symptom too. Sometimes my feet burn at night and look very pink. For the last few weeks I have had heel pain, when I have my feet up and leaning on something. I kind of assumed that it was related to the Psoriasis that I get in the summer, perhaps it isn’t. Keeping my feet well moisturised seems beneficial. There is thinning of the skin with steroid use.

Hello, this one comes up regularly so I guess it does like to come along for the ride. Try searching sore feet at the top right of the page and you’ll get some more posts.

I think it is also a sign of deficiency in one of the B vitamins. It might be worth trying some Vit B complex

A lot of doctors would disagree but the soles of my feet felt as if they had been sandpapered, especially after walking. It improved after going on pred but comes back with flares. Over the years there have been a lot of people who have mentioned it. This was separate to the feeling of walking in bare feet on stones mixed with broken glass.

Yes - awful trouble with my feet when the pred is lowered - so bad I have to increase the pred again. I do wonder where it will all end - as its so bad I don't know if this is what I will be left with if I ever get rid of PMR - whether its part of it or a separate issue! Walking is literally pain - every step.
