Got a really good nights sleep last night. Best I’ve had in quite some time.
As soon as my feet hit the floor this morning I felt terrible. Headache, palpitations, shortness of breath, blood pressure was up.
Was very tired all day. Had a very hard time staying awake at work.
After work I had to pick up some groceries for my 86 year old dad. About halfway through the store I got very hot and sweaty and terrible stomach cramps.
I couldn’t get out of there quick enough.
I had felt pretty good the last 3-4 days and now I feel like I went backwards.
This PMR/GCA is so frustrating. 😩😥

My pmr cycles like that, I can almost predict when a bad day is coming...but my worst days are always followed by another stretch of better days...weird..
Hi Dejon73, I hope the last 18 hours have improved for you! At the very least I hope the yucky symptoms have subsided.... Hopefully tomorrow will be a "brand new day, for YOU!
If rest doesn’t put you right, perhaps you’ve picked up a virus. Your symptoms do sound quite viral in nature. You are probably right though, you had responsibilities that you couldn’t put off at the first signs of trouble and this is what we get if we try and plough through. I don’t know how you manage to work, I really don’t. I hope you get back on an even keel soon.
Thank you so much Jane. I’m feeling much better. I figured out what was going on with my stomach. My blood pressure was high and my GP increased my medication from 360 to 420 mg. That increase was too much and gave me severe stomach cramping and diarrhea. I went back to the 360 and today is the first day for a week that I haven’t had stomach issues. My pmr symptoms are much better and I see my rheumatologist next week.
