Sitting here thinking why are my hips hurting so much tonight, oh bugged I don't think I took my tablets this morning! So do I take them now or wait until the morning.
I've racked my brain trying to think if I've taken them or not and just can't remember😱😱😱

If I were you I would take the tablets now and stop the pain. Then carry on as normal. I have managed to do the same thing a couple of times, I think I have learnt my lesson now though.
Get yourself a little tablet container with all the days of the week. Put your tablets in on a weekly basis. Then in the morning you just open the box and take. Too much otherwise. Xx
Hi Griggser, so sorry to hear that. Sorry I didn’t see the post till just now as Reeds Pharmacy in Frances Street, TRURO usually have a good selection of weekly pill boxes. I certainly couldn’t manage without one! Hope you feel better in the morning.
If you wake up in pain I’d take the dose. If you can't get to sleep I’d take the dose. If you sleep through the night and wake in pain, I’d see if an extra 5 mgs does the trick on top of your normal 12 mgs. If you feel like you usually do then the chances are you took it. Buy a pill box with the days on it.
A double dose for one day just tends to give you a rather good day. Then go back to normal the following day.
i use a tablet box with the week in it ,for the same reason .
Hope you feel okay today. I have both accidentally forgotten a dose and taken a double dose. The double dose was a better experience! I must confess I did bumpy it up by an mg or 2 when I forgot dose and it took 2 to 3 days to feel like I was back to "normal"....normal for pred and PMR.
I write down my planned dosing for the week (DSNS taper) on my calendar, and check it off Immediately when taken. That way I know for certain I took it, and can evaluate my taper when needed.
