See my earlier message to Mimici. Thanks to Rugger for letting me know how to send a photo.
This is my Orchid today. It still has buds on it. So if you're feeling like almost dead sticks this is what can happen after rest and allowing yourself time to recover - you can bloom once more. X

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!
Footfairy-1, It is beautiful!!!! It is so perfect, it looks artificial!!!!
Yes, yes, I do feel like a "dead stick!" Perhaps a thick, chunky, heavy, "dead stick," but a dead stick nonetheless!!!!!
This is the perfect example of how rest, relaxation and re-energising ones self's can bring on re-birth; where there was no life... there is LIFE in abundance!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for reminding me that "I" am still here... I'm not a dead stick.
How lovely, Footfairy-1. I'm so glad I told you how to post a photo! I've never been able to get orchids to bloom again. Let's hope yours is a good omen for us all.
The orchid is beautiful. I am not blessed in the gardening department. Luckily, my husband is. This gives him a real incentive to keep well because, if his MS is worse, or God forbid he gets sepsis again, you can practically guarantee at least some of his plants will die. I once thought I had overcome my plant-growing problem. I had an indoor plant that I nurtured and it grew well and flowered. At that point I realised it was a dandelion. Whatever had been in the pot had obviously died and an opportunist had taken its place.
