Yes, it is.

Are you using low carb high diet? I had a lot of Pain between 15mg and 10mg. O I couldn't put my lower legs in hot water.it could just be your blood a spiking and impacting on extremities.

Thanks. Yes, my Blood Sugar spikes in the afternoon from the prednisone, but I hit it hard with insulin. I am on a pump and check my blood sugar about 10 times a day. I am on a low carb diet. At lunch I often have no carbs and need to take ab out 10 units of insulin (USA).

I don't have diabetes, at least not at last bloods etc, but have noticed an increase in the neuropathy as I struggle to get below 14mg. Had to go up to 15 during the frost and have taken weeks to go back to 14. Depressingly I am at exactly the same point as I was this time last year, when not usual GP prescribed Gaberpentin which helped it but had other unwanted effects!

This disease can be Groundhog Day!

I don't know if what I am experiencing is neuropathy, as I am not diabetic. But my lower legs ache when I drop below 15mg Pred.

Yes, me too. I don’t have diabetes, but spinal cord damage from a spinal cyst. Unmistakeably for me, new pain, buzzing and tingling that I had recovered from years ago. In fact, worse than I ever had before my surgery to repair the damage. It started during the many months when I had PMR before diagnosis, and worsened a lot as I was pushed to reduce prednisone way too fast and too far, resulting in a big PMR flare. In trying to understand what was happening to me, my gp did spinal MRIs which showed large areas of somewhat transient inflammation on my spine. No explanation for it, but I believe it is caused by either my PMR or whatever causes PMR.
