What dose of pred are you on? Have you reduced recently?

A listed side effect of furosemide is unusual tiredness and is one that you should report to your doctor. By shakiness do you mean dizziness/lightheadedness?

No by shakiness I mean hands and arms sometimes legs will kick up that’s the only way I can put it don’t feel ill

I’m on 8and a half mg and have been in that for awhile I do think it might be something to do with the frusomide as it seems to start about 2hrs after I have taken them oh well nearly finished months lot 6 to go should I leave the six off

Thank you

Please ask your GP to check your electrolytes level in a blood test.

mayoclinic.org/diseases-con...

Being on diuretics can mean your potassium level goes too low and that can cause twitchy muscles.

“Legs will kick up” immediately made me think of RLS. Which, yes, low potassium might cause.

Def get GP to check electrolytes.

Potassium supplementation used to be commonplace with diuretics, but maybe that’s old fashioned? There are also potassium sparing diuretics.

A banana a day may help until you get to see doc. Nice dollop of potassium and also magnesium for good measure.

RLS=restless leg syndrome, sorry shouldn’t abbbreviate.

Best to take a trip to the GP, and maybe have a full panel of blood work done. Sometimes I get the shakes too, and it gives me the indication of low blood sugar, but please check with your Doctor
