Good rheumy in Northern California?

Morning everyone,

I’ve been posting about problems getting feedback and called back by my rheumy and having problems getting past his assistant to speak to him when having symptoms....not being able to find out if they are concerning or not!, (see mamici’s wonderful post about symptoms).

I’m in the Sacramento, foothills area, between Sac and Lake Tahoe. I’m looking into UC Davis teaching hospital, but so far no luck there yet. I have Medicare and Medicaid which can also be an issue in the US. As everywhere, rheumys seem to be a scarce item, especially ones who know about PMR/GCA and are willing to listen and work with you.

Hi, Mstiles, If you click on your icon in the upper right hand corner, a drop bar will come down. There’s an option, find people near me. If there’s someone near you, you could message them to see who they are treated by and if they like the doc. Hope that helps.

Thanks, Poopadoop. I’ve searched this site during those ‘I cannot sleep’ nights. It’s amazing what you can find here.
