Allicin Max

Does anyone know whether it’s safe to take Allicin Max with Pred? A friend of mine who is seriously disabled with RA swears by it whenever she feels she is about to succumb to an infection of any sort. She is vegetarian, vegan, manages her condition without painkillers...she’s extraordinary! I’m on 7/8mg for GCA and feeling like I’m going down with a chesty cough etc...just wondering whether to blast it with garlic? Love to hear back from anyone who has any experience taking it. Judy

I eat garlic but ha vent taken it as a supplement. Here's what webmd had to say....main thing is to discuss with Dr or, as I do with everything, your pharmacist.

Can't see why not providing you aren't taking anticoagulants as well (warfarin for example).

I know Celtic on here swore by garlic for helping her PMR symptoms.

I think I’ll take some for the next few days and see what happens...if there’s a miracle I’ll report back!
