Loving My Weighted Blanket!

I promised an update and here it is... I am hooked! My blanket weighs 17 pounds, so its a little unweilding to get situated, but once in place, it's like a full body hug! The micro-glass beads, pulled down by gravity, fill in all the nooks and crannies between me and the blanket. I at once feel warm, cozy, comfy and strangly very secure! I have slept more soundly for much longer time periods of time. I don't move around as much, so I don't wake myself as often as I did. I feel refreshed, less tired and again secure... almost Zen like! If your curious, give it a shot!

They call it a "blanket," but mine is more like "sheet" material. I was a bit disappointed with that at first, but now I like it, as I use it over my duvet! It seems to add the weight with adding extra warmth... I also have a washable cover on mine, but still I'm not too hot. And I can't sleep if I'm too warm! There are all different kinds, I have seen some that look like a duvets, blankets... I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

Glad to hear that it's not too warm- I can get really over heated. Thanks for reporting back- certainly something to consider.

Doesn't sound like me - have to be able to stick my feet out from under the covers... And I'd never get it into place!!!!!

I do struggle to get it situated, but I count that as exercise as it weighs 17 pounds! 🤣🤣🤣

I have bought blanket for my son. They are out of stock for his size at moment, should be available in February. gravid.ca/

Not much choice yet, but they are coming out with cotton covers in the spring, for a "cooler experience" during summer!

I use a cotton blanket and lay it sideways so that my feet are not covered with it. Good light weight for anyone not wanting to be too hot.

Cats work just as well.

Not everyone can have a pet, and some of us don't believe in letting them in the bedrooms. I do confess one of my cats was particularly comforting when I had my broken leg, though. I think she was just happy to have an immobilized warm body to sleep on during the day!
