We really did Cinca thank you. My lovely husband did all the food and all the wrapping. I just cried at sentimental films. Bless you too 💝

I had a lot of help from my daughter with shopping and preparing for the day, SheffieldJane, otherwise I would never have got there! I had 2 guests - who had suggested going out for Christmas lunch - but did manage that by doing most things the day before - it was the present wrapping I just could not physically do! So exhausted - no sleep, etc. as we all know - I couldn't do it! So most presents went into carrier bags with a bit of ribbon attached.. they understand, tho'! Three cheers for your lovely hubby! x

I did all the present shopping, mostly on- line and decorated the house using lots of fairy lights. Did a lot of the thinking and planning. Orchestrating from the depths of the sofa. And actually a lot of dishwasher loading and keeping the house nice. So I wasn’t completely idle. So although my husband was the lead actor in the play ( and got all the applause) I wrote the play and set the stage. 😉

Thank you Cinka,l had a lovely Christmas with my son and his family.Sadly my husband passed away a few weeks ago and l am so blessed to have a supportive family. God bless you too ,and may your new year be a lovely one.xx

I am so sorry, Grants.. I know how very difficult this is - and only a short time ago..I am thinking of you. I am glad you were comforted by being with your son and family. I pray that you will know God's comfort too in the months to come. 💜 xx

I am so sorry that you lost your husband. The first Christmas without your love one can be such a trial. I am glad your family wrapped themselves around you. Bless you!
