I have had PMR for almost 4 years. Down to 4m with the help of Actemra. First time ever I had a problem focusing or tracking the reading of a phone number. Same problem now, tonight. Almost feels similar to when you have looked for a moment at the bright sun, then have to re-focus. Don’t notice any visuals except when trying to read. Anyone?

Tracking, focusing issues
There is a kind of migraine type feeling to my head and eyes. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to experience that sort of dazzled feeling. I have had it with an actual migraine during pregnancy. Being a worrier though, I would be scrolling through Actemra side effects and be on the alert for any worsening of eye symptoms because of GCA. 4 mgs is pretty good going. I don't really understand how Actemra helps with reduction yet. If I do have Aortic Stenosis it is a drug that may be considered . Not sure why but I'll find out. Hope it goes as mysteriously as it came. Most things do, don't they?
Thank you for your reply. The Actemra attacks the iL6 cryotines and kills some of them off (the cause of the inflammation). Prednisone also has a lot of weird side effects.
I have always been on alert for GCA...have read the posts over the years about the blindness.
I would rush into the eye doctor, but I do not have access to a eye doctor until I get home mid-December. Guess I will just keep an eye on it. It doesn’t sound like cataracts I don’t think...?
Cataracts are often not symptomatic until they are quite advanced. I have them apparently. They caused my grandma's blindness but now it is a straight forward operation. It's too soon for treatment for mine, my optician found them. Very matter of fact about it. I was quite shocked. I think it would be more like a veil obscuring your vision.
