One of my fears 😱is making more stones.

I have had a great deal of problems in the past. Had my Gaul bladder removed also a stone removed from the bile duct.

I have been told I have narrowing of the bile duct.

Also well aware we can still make stones although Gaul bladder remvoved

I am very careful of diet very little fat. Fish &chipps 😱 no no.

And cranberry juice every morning.

Wondering if I could do anything else.

Hi

If you have had your Gall bladder removed it is extremely rare to get gall stones in the bile duct

Thanks.

As rare as it may be I know 3 people

Apart from my self one with bile duct problems I have been back in hospital with severe pains a good while after removal for five days but then they believed I had passed them.

And one time on a Cruise ship leaving St. Petersburg.

Cruclal pain could not sit or lie down just pacing up and down in cabin.

Had a couple of tramadols

Dare not send for ships Doctors as I would be srieght back to Russia. I said to my wife I will confess as we get nearer next port in morning. But after 2 hours or so not sure was Vilatley sick. Phew what a relief.

So now very carefull.

I have no gall bladder and have a stone in the bile duct. Nobody suggested it was rare. It worries me as the hospital have put me on “watchful waiting”. I have a blood test every 3 months.

Tack care with your diet . That is all we can do don’t know of owt else apart from v low fat diet

Some people think you are ok with oil but I don’t. I love tinned mackerel but feel it was that which set me off one time.

Tack care. No fish & 🍟
