Doctor rang me 😱to say my bones are no worse than last scan. 3 yrs ago. 👍👍

I am amazed what difference 1mg can

Make. Done 8 for a fortnight.

Yesterday first day on 7.

Woke up earlyer than usual with pain across eyes bat manly right eye outside corner.

Don’t like that and very stiff.

Ok after pred med.

Rapid reaction like this could be pred withdrawal. Are you on the regular uncoated tablets? It may be easier for you if you cut a 1 mg tablet and drop to 7.5 instead, and use DSNS or similar slow taper to fool your body into not noticing the reduction. And maybe you needed a little longer at 8?

Hurray for your bone scan Ronzy! You could try cutting your tablet ( 1 mg) in half and having a gentler slide down. Watch that eye symptom - doctor if you are at all worried!

Some people are kept well by a couple of mgs in the end, it is amazing.

The venue is no more than a 10 minute walk from Ilkley station - 5 minutes if your legs will go that well!

So good to hear you're obviously much happier with your new doctor.

I'm tapering from 8mg to 7.5mg using DSNS - 0.5mg at a time, as I learnt my lesson doing it at 1mg a month!
