Unwanted hair

No, not the Pred beard or sideburns, but a bit more unexpected. For two weeks I was getting increasing pain in my biopsy wound six months after the event. It was going into my jaw, ear and neck, but my gut felt it wasn't the GCA. Last week I got my husband to have a look at it and he saw a black speck in the wound. You know where this is going. I gave him a needle and the go ahead to provide some answers. I do trust him like the legendary Parker (see estellemac's posts) when it comes to this sort of thing, even though he is a mere academic. A few ouchy minutes later, he fished out a 3cm hair that was growing vertically down into the wound. Instant relief and so far no signs of infection. I just hope there are no more.

Do you think we could clone your husband and Parker? Well done to you both for getting to the bottom of that - literally!

Well, depends what you want doing. Minor surgery or techy problems sorted yes, but not putting things in the dishwasher or tidying up.

I'll let him know, I'm usually too busy ranting about the pants on the floor and coffee cups right next to the dishwasher.

Not what you're looking for?
