I had my first infusion nearly three weeks ago. For over a year my ESR and CRP have been really high, generally in the 70's. My first blood test has shown a sudden drop to normal for CRP and only just over normal - 20 - for ESR. I am really amazed and not sure what this means. On the minus side my liver function is out of range. I am awaiting a call from Southend Hospital where I have been treated. In the meantime I am out of area and due an injection in a week and nothing has been arranged. I have telephoned twice so am hoping I can soon get some answers but maybe its onwards and upward ... in the meantime feeling quite a lot better.
