I am 7 months into my PMR and down to 9 mg Prednisolone. The pain is largely controlled but debilitating fatigue is a problem. My question is: Is the fatigue caused by the Prednisolone or by the underlying PMR ?

Short answer - bit of both. But predominately the PMR.
Sure PMRpro will be along shortly with a link to a post she put on here a few weeks/months ago which covered the very problem, or you could just look at butyoudontlooksick.com which covers another autoimmune system, but does give you some idea of how to manage your fatigue.

Possibly. I know, helpful.
Fatigue is a component of almost all autoimmune disease and it is also a potential side effect of pred but that is very patient-dependent, by no means all people are affected by the pred.fatigue.
