Shall I laugh or cry !

Well folks cancelled my early morning appointment and rebooked for 3 today.

So I thought

Got there, went to book in , receptionist could not find me on system.

I was not happy with her so she double checked and said here you are, oh dear it was for 7th august ahhhhhhh no one available.

Went outside and told myself off , should I laugh or should I cry !! I could not believe what I had done ( well I can ) that's me all over !

But some good news, went up to 10mg this morning and I feel a lot better tonight!

And wait for it ..... I went Tesco and bought a tigerbread baton, Tesco finest applewood ham, double Gloucester cheese with chives, red onion, coleslaw with cheese in, and I put on my plate and by gum did I enjoy it !!! Then had a fresh peach.

That is the first time in a week I have fancied food ! ( still don't want a cooked meal though )

So after today's episode I have decided to take 10mg tomorrow again and see if pain goes completely!!

I feel so much happier tonight ! but if it comes back again tomorrow it will definitely be see doctor, but fingers crossed again .

Thank you everyone x

Hi Margaret,

Think you have to laugh!

Glad you've got your appetite back, hope it continues. Don't worry about having a hot meal, so long as it's balanced, a cold meal like you had, or sandwiches are just as good, according to some doctors. It's only in cold weather you really need a hot meal and/or drinks.

Take care.

Hi CT,

to be honest I do keep thinking about Doctors and laugh to myself, I always believe these things happen for a reason.

Just look, I went Tesco and bought food !!! 😂 and really enjoyed it !

Hope tomorrow gets better still , that 2.5mg extra sure has made a difference thank God.

Just don't get carried away! Or you'll be up all night with indigestion.

I will give you an even bigger laugh, this is what I am like.

About 6 years ago I had to travel to Barnet hospital for tests.

Got there, handed my paper over, sorry you are a month early, right date and time though ! I felt a right Wally !

Yes I have had a couple of appointments I havnt been late for. Just like you I've gone at least a week early. You feel so foolish in the surgery. But it will get better as the brain fog diminishes. All good wishes

You have to treat yourself sometimes. My.memory is complete mystery to me. Hoping brain dog clears...i am 56 with the brain and body of someone older..i best friend is 82 and likes doing things with me cos I walk at a pace she can manage. I can't walk uphill and she can't do downhill so we are pretty limited now.

I plumb all appts into my mobile phone. I set alarms for 1 week before 3 days before 1 day before then 3 hours and the last one at an hour to leave time to park etc.

Hi Jackie,

You must go Tesco and buy their Tesco applewood ham, it is really really lovely and that's what is making me eat again !

Had it for lunch again on tiger bread, then some gaviscon because of the bread lol

Not hungry again yet as it bloats you out but worth it !

At least my depression seems to of gone after upping steroids, very pleased about that ! X
