Hydrocortisone....now on 1mg Pred..........

Well, I am in my second week of the 'new regime', which is Hydrocortisone. I have gone from 2mg Pred, to, currently, 1 mg, with total stopping of Pred, next Wed, and only HC. It hasn't been a smooth ride...is it ever? Side-effects are stomach probs, and feeling like a kangaroo, carrying her joey! No hopping and jumping.VERY dry mouth, which I suffer from anyway.Loo more often.

As I stated, previously, I was/am not, and still not, TIRED. As I haven't yet an Endocrine appt, I tell myself all is ok, and am probably on the 18 week list. I find I have an increased appetite, at night, just the way my GCA started 12 years ago. I have put on 0.6. It took me so long to lose the 3 stone, from initial GCA, that I sure hope I manage it better now. I should, thanks to the wonderful help and support on this forum, which I only discovered 18 months ago.
