I have a friend that is suffering from Meniere's and is looking for a good support group. The only community she found was DeafPlus on Healthunlocked. Any suggestions would be appreciated

There is the Meniere's Society in UK, menieres.org.uk. Also patient.co.uk has discussions on Meniere's.

Piglette thank you for this info; just been diagnosed with Meniere's disease, to this will be most useful for me to check up. At least it wasn't a massive flare with my PMR/GCA. But feeling tired with all the stress etc, hopefully meds prescribed will help, not much fun feeling like you're drunk all the time, and I don't drink alcohol anymore anyway.

Hi there. I too suffer with Menieres as well as pmr. The group I found most helpful was the USA menieres.org site. Lots of knowledgeable people on the site. There are numerous MD groups including a U.K. One which I used to moderate on. I'm not sure if it is still running. My MD is now inactive although I am deaf and have constant tinnitus. Hope this is helpful.

It may still work - don't know...

Just looked - it does. Yours takes you to the "front page" which is worth a gander for amusement value.

Q: Why are Americans dying so needlessly?

R: Everything but a mention of gun crime though...

I wonder if they thought about the impression created by that link?
