Advice needed

I have been on Laxidu powders 1 or 2 nightly following.a bowel cancer scare some years ago which luckily turned out to be diverticular disease (not diverticulitis itself). I now hear that they can cause problems such as hoarseness etc. Does anyone have any info regarding this.

Gillymar, I don't think many here on this forum will be in the same situation as yourself. We mostly 'just' have PMR or GCA. There is a Bowel Disease/ Diverticulitis site here on Health Unlocked and I'm sure that you will find much more help there, so do have a look.

Thank for your info. I am not sure how to get on to a specific site but will try

I am still quite new to all this but grateful for any help.

Hey Gilly - Just a quickie to say I have been on Laxido for several years now. re IBS so need "regularity" - gives me extremely dry mouth overnight but might up the dose a bit as am not eating too many CARBS at present because of PMR diagnosis nearly a month ago (so am on preds) and I am not giving preds a miss - they have proved V. GOOD so far as pain reduction goes, but Laxido is Doctor approved and has always worked for me - hope this helps.
