That is quite high for inflammation markers. Have they offered you steroids?

I started with GCA over two years ago with an ESR reading of 147. Can anyone top that? Hope not. I'm now down to 2

I am afraid I was only 128 for ESR and 123 for CRP.

Slightly better than ESR 67 and CRP 99. Just went to 25 mg pred because of wicked shoulder pain...15mg 5:00 am 10 mg 5:30 pm. Feel better but not entirely pain free. By 2:00 in the afternoon I'm lying down and day is virtually done! Go to bed between 8:30 and 9.

Suggestions? Seeing Rheumotologist 7/31

There are other things that can cause the same sort of shoulder pain - and some of them are often found alongside PMR. Myofascial pain syndrome is one. But there others.

Oh dear - the highest my CRP has been was 20 when I was first diagnosed. Hope you get sorted soon.
